The Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday confirmed 14 new positive COVID-19 cases in Brunei following preliminary tests, bringing the country’s total to 25.

Key highlights from yesterday’s press conference:
🔴 14 new positive COVID-19 cases confirmed in Brunei following preliminary tests, bringing the national toll to 25.
🔴 13 of the new cases were linked to the religious gathering in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, while one case is a 64-year old local man had travel history to Kuala Lumpur and Cambodia.
🔴 Case 22 is a 31-y.o local man who is a work colleague of Case 3 who attended the religious gathering.
🔴 81 locals attended the religious gathering in Kuala Lumpur; 70 have returned home; 66 have been tested and 4 have not yet come forward; 11 are still overseas, including 3 in Malaysia.
