Ambassador Meynard LB Montealegre, together with other Heads of Missions and representatives of ASEAN Member States and ASEAN Dialogue Partners in Brunei Darussalam

The Philippine Embassy in Brunei Darussalam, led by Ambassador Meynardo LB. Montealegre, participated in a Bandarku Ceria (Car-free Sunday) event “Radio Brunei with ASEAN Friends” organized by the Radio Television Brunei (RTB).

The event, organized in conjunction with the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Founding of ASEAN, was participated by Heads of Missions of ASEAN Member States and ASEAN Dialogue Partners in Brunei. It kicked off with a zumba session, followed by a Treasure Hunt which had the participants searching for answers to the clues given within the two kilometer trail around the area.

A live cooking session of an omelette soufflé by Mr.Thanis Lim, a Bruneian food blogger, was also held at the venue. The event was capped off with presentation of prizes to the winners of the raffle draw and the Treasure Hunt game.

The Embassy fully supports ASEAN-related activities hosted by the Brunei government in view of promoting the Philippine’s ASEAN Chairmanship and the 50th Founding Anniversary of ASEAN this year. END
