List of Airports with clearance to resume commercial operations as of June 18

At least 26 airports in the country are allowed to resume commercial operations after securing clearances from their host local government, the Department of Transportation said Friday.

Some airports require documents and restrict passengers, the DOTr said in an advisory. Six more airports are set to restart operations in the coming weeks, it said.

List of airports with LGU approval to resume commercial flights:

• Romblon Airport
• Naga Airport
• Manila International Airport
• Clark International Airport
• Cauayan Airport
• Palanan Airport
• Laguindingan Airport
• Dipolog Airport
• Pagadian Airport
• Borongan Airport
• Antique Airport
• Masbate Airport
• Mactan-Cebu International Airport
• Tacloban Airport
• Legazpi Airport
• Ormoc Airport
• Catbalogan Airport
• San Jose Airport
• Catarman Airport
• Ozamis Airport

Airports set to open in the coming weeks:

• Basco Airport (July 1)
• Virac Airport (July 1)
• Surigao Airport (August)
• Siargao Airport (Sept. 1)
• San Vicente Airport (July 1)
• Busuanga Airport (July 1)

Flights were allowed to resume after Metro Manila transitioned to general community quarantine on June 1, following an 11-week lockdown.

Some airlines and airports require essential travelers to secure documents such as medical certificate before boarding.— Source: ABSCBN
