Ilocos Norte urgently needs nurses
LAOAG CITY – The provincial government of Ilocos Norte through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) is urgently in need of at least eight nurses to be deployed in state-run hospitals.
Ann Marie Lizette Atuan, provincial manager of PESO, announced Tuesday that the program is under the “Sagip Nars Program”.
It aims to sustain the steady employment of registered nurses and at the same time help the government in containing the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
Atuan said application is now ongoing and they will continue to accept applicants until May 21.
“An applicant must be a board passer and not employed in any hospital setting,” Atuan said in an interview Tuesday.
She added the application letter must be addressed to Governor Matthew Joseph Manotoc along with a curriculum vitae, photocopy of transcript of records, board rating, Professional Regulatory Commission card, school diploma, and one 2×2 ID picture.
Those interested may email their application to Ilocosnortepeso2020@gmail.com or to Provincial PESO Office.
