First three COVID-19 cases reported in Surigao del Sur

Provinces with no single case of coronavirus disease are down to 10, as Surigao del Sur recorded its first three infections on Saturday.

Of the number, two are from Bislig City and one from Lingig town, the Department of Health-Caraga confirmed.

The infections in Surigao del Sur are among the 25 cases recorded in Caraga, a majority of whom are locally stranded individuals.

It took more than 28,000 cases nationwide before Surigao del Sur reported it is not free of COVID-19 anymore.

Only Quirino, Batanes, Aurora, Palawan, Masbate, Siquijor, Guimaras, Zamboanga Sibugay, Dinagat Islands and Tawi-Tawi remain free of the viral disease.— Source: cnnphilippines.com
