DFA Welcomes OFWs from Mozambique, Qatar
The week is about to end but the job is not yet over. The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) welcomes today the arrival of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) from Mozambique and Qatar at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Among the arrivals were OFWs belonging to Toa Corporation, Penta Ocean Construction, and Gulf Turbo Services. This repatriation was facilitated by the DFA-Office of Migrant Workers’ Affairs, in coordination with the Philippine Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa, as well as the Philippine Embassy in Doha, Qatar.
Several government agencies were represented by the tireless public servants who received our OFWs, namely the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Health (DOH), Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), Department of Transportation (DoTr), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).
