Brunei COVID-19 updates: No new case reported today as of June 28 2020
The Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Mohammad Isham bin Hj Jaafar at the daily COVID-19 press briefing said that no new COVID-19 case in was recorded in Brunei today, maintaining the national tally at 141.
No active cases are being treated at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in Tutong.
In the past 24 hours, a total of 409 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV2 virus, that brings the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 29,111 tests.
Meanwhile, there are currently 409 individuals undergoing mandatory self-isolation at the monitoring centers provided by the government, who have just arrived in the country after traveling abroad. At present, a total of 2,696 individuals have completed their mandatory self-isolation at the monitoring centres.
The health minister also informed that all COVID-19 swab tests for individuals who have recently returned from the United Kingdom, have tested negative.
The health minister also informed that a total of 403,837 individuals have registered to the BruHealth application. For companies and premises, a total of 10,839 have registered for the BruHealth application.— Source: borneobulletin.com.bn
